American Idol Top 6: Love Song Night

Update: Kellie was kicked off, Paris was in bottom two.
Tonight the idols were helped by Andrea Bocelli and David Foster. David is a total hardass. And he really really wants the idols to be unique, not just good singers. Andrea is totally a nice guy with fluffy things to say. He’s basically a prop and example. Here, listen to Andrea: *perfect voice sings* Sing like that.
- Katharine: “I Have Nothing” Geez I hate how they keep showing the secrets to the performances! David and Andrea LOVE her. Her dress is purty. She flashes everyone. Stop showing her crying dad! She did great and she really is the best PERFORMER. Randy, Paula, Simon: You are no Whitney. They totally ripped her for no reason. 4.5
- Elliot: “A Song for You” Sooooo much better than previous nights! Added so much genuine personality this time! Paula crying, Simon: Superb. 4.75
- Kellie: “Unchained Melody” What was she thinking picking this song??? Hair bad, beginning bad, middle bad, only the high notes good. No emotion. Totally boring. Paula: You’re not raising the bar every week. Simon: Monotonous, no warmth. 3.5
- Paris: “The Way We Were” Andrea loves her. Sometimes she oversings a lot. It’s annoying. And too many headbops. It was fine, but I just don’t care. No one said anything all that exciting. 4
- Taylor: “Just Once” David says he has the most charisma. He does use his hands too much. Actually I think the song’s a bit boring, but he pulls it out every ending. Still, this was actually a pretty bad week for him. Judges verdict: Not so great. 4
- Chris: “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman” God, I love this song so freakin’ much. I want to watch Don Juan De Marco right now. Geez, Chris is hot doing this song. But yet, he could have been a bit hotter. Andrea and David taught him to sing on his back so he would use his diaphragm more. Cooooool…. Welp, best of the night! 5
Overall, the night was pretty good. Bottom 3 will probably be the 3 girls, with Kellie possibly actually going this time. Probably Paris though.
